The star among the new cultivars is the Sae Midori, a cross between Yabukita and Asatsuyu. This variety has been carefully bred since 1990 and delights us with the following characteristics:
- Appearance: fresh bright green cup
- Olfactory properties: thanks to a strong umami and a reduced shibumi, this tea delights us with an elegant sweetness and a delicious aroma.
The strong content of quercetin not only rounds off the overall flavour bouquet, but this active ingredient is also considered an effective antidote against corona.
Preparation: 1 teaspoon per 180ml at 70 °C, 60-75 seconds .
Re-infusion: Leave it to infuse at 70°C for 30 seconds.
