Japan Shincha Gyokuro Asanoka
With the beginning of spring and the rising temperatures, the tea plants also start to sprout again. Our high-quality Shincha is made from these fresh, young leaves. The special peculiarity of this tea lies in the preceding three-week overshadowing of the plants. During this time, they can produce a lot of chlorophyll, which gives them a beautiful deep green leaf and a distinctive umami character. The cultivar Asanoka means morning fragrance. Due to the very early budding and the soft base character, it is a perfect fit for the spring harvest.
