Japan Bancha [2302]

Made from large, mature leaves harvested from the lower shoots of the tea plant, Japanese Bancha tea offers a refreshing, slightly toasty flavor with a soft, discreet grassy note. Picked after the Sencha harvest, it is traditionally enjoyed in Japan as an everyday tea, especially with meals.

Its mild taste and low caffeine content make it perfect for both green tea beginners and enthusiasts, serving as an excellent introduction to the world of Japanese tea.

Preparation: 3-5 grams per 200ml at 80°C, 2 minutes. 

Re-infusions (this high quality Bancha can be infused 2-3 times):

• second time: 80°C, 30-45 seconds;
• third time: 80°C, 1-2 minutes.
